Our Guest Rooms
We have five guest rooms (all are shared-bathroom/ shower and toilet) for overnight stays and aim to commence a programme of refurbishment in 2018 to introduce a sixth room and to install en-suite facilities where possible.
A “take-away” continental style breakfast forms part of the package, to get you off to a great start in the morning.
Our Function Room
Our Function Room is perfect for small meetings and parties. It can easily seat up to 30 people for sit down meals and up to 50 delegates for private gatherings.
It is self contained with its own private bar servery and has the added benefit of its own toilet facilities and cloakroom area.
Refurbished in 2015, this room has a small dancefloor area and banquette seating.
Our Meeting Room
Our Meeting Room is much larger and would comfortably seat 50 people for sit down meals and up to 80 delegates for private meetings. This room is carpeted and offers a flexible table layout to suit your needs.
This room is also available for private dining events.
Hotel Terms of Booking
At The Station Hotel, reservations may only be cancelled free of charge up to the date indicated on your reservation confirmation. Once the reservation has passed the cancellation deadline, it can no longer be cancelled free of charge, and it becomes subject to the cancellation fees stated on your reservation confirmation. If the reservation is non-refundable it will be charged in full even when cancelled.
If you do not arrive by midnight on the day of check-in, we will no longer be obligated to hold your room and your entire reservation will be deemed cancelled, unless you have notified us and we have mutually agreed otherwise.
We reserve the right to pre-authorise your card for an amount equivalent to the cancellation fee as soon as the cancellation deadline has passed.
A pre-authorisation does NOT trigger a charge to your card but your bank may show this amount as a "future pending transaction" since it will be payable should you not arrive at the hotel. A pre-authorisation may however affect the credit limit that allowed on your card since your bank will regard this booking as a committed expense once the cancellation deadline has passed.
The pre-authorisation is not a charge and will be replaced by a full charge when you check-out or if you should cancel your reservation passed the cancellation deadline.
Guests in The Station Hotel are expected to behave reasonably and courteously to other guests and to staff at all times and we reserve the right to refuse your custom or charge your card should your behaviour cause unacceptable loss of business to the hotel due to any disruption or damage you might have caused.
Please note that we operate a 'Cinderella Rule' policy whereby access to our guest rooms is only possible during pub trading hours - Mon to Thu 12 - 11pm, Fri and Sat 12 - 12, Sun 12 - 10.30pm.
All rooms are have shared bathroom facilities.
